Hi Hello, I’m Danielle

Editor & Author

I help writers turn rough drafts, half-formed ideas, and deeply personal stories into clear, compelling work that sounds unmistakably like them.

As an editor, I specialize in developmental editing, copy/line editing, and manuscript evaluations. My approach is thoughtful and relational. I work alongside you to deepen the structure and refine your voice, so your work communicates what you truly mean rather than what you think it should say.

I believe good editing is equal parts craft and care. That means asking the right questions, honoring your intent and personal voice, and knowing when to step back so your voice can lead. Whether you’re polishing a manuscript, or trying to get words on the page at all, I’m here to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

I currently live in California with my children and sweet rescue pup Margot. I have a fondness for laid-back California style, an appreciation for entertaining, and a love for cooking.

Who I Work With

I work with writers who care about the story they’re telling, writers who want their work to feel true, not just finished. The kind of writer who is willing to sit with the messy middle, to revise with intention, and to keep going until it says what they mean.

I support projects at every stage, whether you’re still shaping your ideas or refining a full manuscript. My role is to help you see your work more clearly, strengthen what’s already there, and guide you through the next steps with confidence.

If this feels like the kind of support you’ve been looking for, I’d love to hear what you’re working on.

Certifications & Training

My work is informed by ongoing editorial training rooted in craft, mentorship, and a deep study of storytelling. Each experience continues to shape how I read, respond, and guide a manuscript forward.

Working with Danielle gave me the kind of clarity every writer hopes for. Her feedback was both encouraging and incredibly actionable. I finally felt confident in my next steps and excited about my writing again.
