Hi, Hello. I’m Danielle
I help writers turn rough drafts, half-formed ideas, and deeply personal stories into clear, compelling work that sounds unmistakably like them.
As an editor, I specialize in developmental editing, copy/line editing, and manuscript evaluations. My approach is thoughtful and relational. I’m here to strengthen structure, sharpen voice, and help your work say what you actually mean, not what you think it should say.
I believe good editing is equal parts craft and care. That means asking the right questions, honoring your intent and personal voice, and knowing when to step back so your voice can lead. Whether you’re polishing a manuscript, or trying to get words on the page at all, I’m here to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
I currently live in California with my family and sweet rescue pup Margot. I have a fondness for laid-back California style, an appreciation for entertaining, and a love for cooking.

Years ago when I would create art I would live in the fear of what other people would think. Would they like it? Is it "good enough?” Would they understand it? And honestly that would hinder me from creating. Fast forward to my current season of life and when I think through what has changed since then... I think a big part of it is creating space to create and experiment for just me and not creating based on how other people will receive it. I feel a lot more freedom to create for me, even if I never share what I make. I know that I can create and feel freedom that what I create is something that's out of overflow of my own heart.
